RVI: Production Lead

The Production Lead has primary responsibility for daily supervision of all wire harness assembly operations within the given department.

What does a Production Lead do for RVI?

  • Provide daily work direction to assembly personnel
  • Employee HR approvals
  • Developed employee performance review documentation, utilizing existing document formats supplied by Human Resources
  • Document any work place related injuries and communicating with Human Resources and Director of Quality Control and Compliance
  • Coordinate orders with management and purchasing department for assemblies / shop supplies
  • Ensure QC processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure products are built and tested to meet customer requirements

What are we looking for in a good candidate? Someone who:

  • Has excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Has problem solving skills
  • Has a high degree of attention to detail
  • Has computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point can be helpful but are not required
  • Has 2 years of experience
  • Has an Associate’s degree
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can bend, crawl and being on feet for 8 plus hours per work day
  • Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
