JOB TITLE: Project Manager Administrative Assistant

COMPANY/DEPARTMENT: SpecSys, Inc. / Project Management

REPORTS TO: Director of Project Management / Sales and Marketing Director

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt / Full-time

JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager Administrative Assistant has the primary responsibility for MRP data input and maintenance, adhering to predetermined project timelines during the manufacturing phase of a project. The ability to multi-task in a fast paced proto-type manufacturing environment is required

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Responsibility for project documentation
  • Coordinate delivery of outsourced components with the purchasing department to ensure vendor supplied parts are delivered in a timely manner
  • Monitor manufacturing progress against predetermined time line milestones and advise management personnel of time line changes and ECO’s that take place during the course of a project
  • Create shop floor work orders and properly structure Bills of Material (BOM) to reflect raw material assignments for in-house work or outsourcing sequences followed by in-house machining / welding / assembly / paint
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS & STANDARDS:

  • Ability to interact with Engineering, Mfg Operations, Sales, Clients and Quality is vital
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Organization
  • Verbal Communication

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Post High School education and equivalent training to position
  • 1+ Years of experience

OR

  • Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
